Our Cleanliness Promise
Our highly qualified Sandyland Cleaning Team utilizes the following checklist based on CDC Guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting our homes and apartments:
-
Wear personal protective items (disposable gloves and facial coverings). Wash hands immediately after removing these items.
-
Ventilate all rooms before cleaning and open outside doors and windows to increase air circulation in the space before beginning to clean and disinfect.
-
Wash hands thoroughly before and after each cleaning using proper hand washing techniques
-
Clean using detergent or soap and water to remove dirt, grease, dust, and germs. Once the surface is clean, spray with a disinfectant, let it stand for a few minutes, then wipe. Use a new cleaning cloth for each guest.
-
Avoids touching your face while cleaning. Do not touch your face, nose or eyes with unwashed hands.
-
Use Proper cleaning solutions (70% alcohol), paying special attention to frequently touched surfaces, faucet handles, light switches, doorknobs, and remote controls.
-
Wash all linens at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer using Lysol Laundry Sanitizer in every load. Wear gloves when handling dirty laundry, and take care to avoid shaking laundry, which could increase the spread of germs.
-
Empty the vacuum cleaner after every cleaning.
-
Line all trash cans.
-
Dispose of or wash cleaning supplies. Remove paper towels, disinfectant wipes, and other disposable cleaning supplies from the house after you finish cleaning. Wash cleaning cloths and other reusable products at the highest heat setting appropriate for the material.
-
Complete an Interior Fogging
In order to add an additional layer of protection, we are treating all our properties with interior fogging between stays. This is simply a quick-drying disinfecting process, similar to what restaurants, airlines, and hospitals use to disinfect large, multi-surface spaces. The purpose is to create and disperse a disinfectant aerosol to reduce the numbers of airborne micro-organisms and also to apply disinfectant to surfaces that may be difficult to reach.
