The most frequent question we receive is just that: “do you clean between bookings?”
In short: ABSOLUTELY! But first, there's a few differences between Cleaning, Disinfecting, Sterilizing, and Sanitizing.
1. Cleaning: Removes dirt, food, soil, and germs using detergents and water to remove bacteria.
2. Disinfecting: Eliminates germs on surfaces using chemicals.
3. Sterilizing: A complete destruction of bacteria and living organisms (typically in healthcare settings).
4. Sanitizing: Microorganism depletion for public health and safety standards.
While we can't sterilize to hospital standards, we Clean, Disinfect, and Sanitize all rooms, surfaces (especially those frequently touched like doorknobs, light switches, and remotes [to name a few] ), and linens. We take CDC-level precautions and the procedures - read our "cleanliness promise" here.
Most importantly, we know that air quality is a concern. We take care to properly ventilate and complete an interior fogging between each stay. This is a quick-drying disinfecting process similar to what restaurants, airlines, and hospitals use to disinfect large, multi-surface spaces. The purpose is to create and disperse a disinfectant aerosol to reduce the number of airborne mircro-organisms and apply disinfectant to surfaces that are difficult to reach.
We care about the health and safety of past and future guests and are committed to the highest standards.
